Educators: Learn About Dyslexia Now
Recent scientific discoveries have completely changed the way we understand dyslexia. It is no longer a mystery. Unfortunately, most teachers and school administrators are not aware of the new findings. They still follow the myths and guess work of the past. Even those in special education positions do not understand dyslexia. Millions of children are hurt each day by well-meaning but ignorant educators. I was a teacher for 25 years before I learned about dyslexia. It was embarrasing to realize I had not given this large group of children the proper intervention.
