The problem I had when I was a kid was that I would get so caught up in the process of reading that I wouldn’t retain the meaning.
Also, when something called for an inference that is not explained in the text, I had no idea that the meaning was implied. I recall not understanding the implication in a selection, and getting a lesson on inference 2-3 years later.
Where she said “Susie can go to the store” and the question said why can’t Susie go to the store. Nd she said the student skipped the apostrophe “T” – I do that a lot.

@RiiNG3rs There’s a completely free way of solving reading problems provided the child is aged 9 or over. Take a look at literacydeficits.blogspot.com This is not an advert – it really works and doesnt cost a penny.
Yes it’s a visual tracking problem the student is scanning the text from right to left because he /she has a right to left orientation preference and that is what is causing there dyslexia
better then my bloody teacher who refused to give me the test, because it looked bad on the school, turns out myy reading problems where caused by dyslexia
